Together Weekend is a weekend away for all of the UK churches in our Grace Connection family and it’s running from 7-9th June. We can’t wait to gather hundreds from across the country to encounter Jesus, hear incredible teaching - with guest speaker Stef Liston - and enjoy loads of quality time with each other. Keep scrolling to find out everything you need to know about the weekend.

What to bring

Most of what you need to bring should be relatively normal for a church weekend away: clothes for different weathers, toiletries, perhaps a Bible or a notebook, phone chargers etc.

The Programme

The weekend will include a combination of main sessions, kids’ groups and plenty of free time to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Take a look at the programme from 2022 to give you an idea of what it might look like.

Tickets are closed

The deadline to book tickets was Sunday 19th May so now the team are working hard to get all the final pieces in place ready for the weekend. Keep checking back on this page for info you need for the weekend.

Catering

Your ticket covers all catering for the weekend. This includes a meal on the Friday evening, all 3 meals on the Saturday and 2 meals on the Sunday (we leave after lunch). You can of course bring extra food with you, but you won’t have to sort your own main meals.

Note: the whole weekend will be nut-free.

Accommodation

When you click through to book into Together Weekend 2024 you’ll see that the tickets are separated by accommodation type. For the type of weekend we’re planning, we think the accommodation at Cefn Lea is perfect, with great shared space to enjoy being family together.

There’s loads of purpose-built pitches for camping which is a great option (and also the cheapest option).

If you’re in a chalet or mobile home you’ll find out who you’re sharing with a couple of weeks before we go; we need to wait to see final numbers before assigning rooms. Families will be kept together, with their own room in one of the chalets, and then we’ll have single-sex rooms for everyone else. Due to the layout of the accommodation, couples will probably end up as part of the single-sex rooms. If you want to stay together then camping is your best option. You can see a few photos below to give you a sense of what to expect, there are more photos on the Cefn Lea website. Keys for the rooms will be available from reception when you arrive.

Transport

Coaches will be travelling from each of the respective churches. These coaches will be arranged by your church staff so keep an eye out for more information from them if you opted for getting the coach. You can of course drive yourself – there is free parking at the conference centre (please lift share where possible).

Kids & Youth

We want every child to have a great weekend and be well looked after. Kids will be assigned to groups during the morning main sessions, just like Sundays at church. As well as the sessions, we’ll have a variety of things available for kids across the weekend like a kids’ trail and films in the cinema.

Youth will all sit together with the team for worship in the morning sessions then head out for their own specific youth session. On the Saturday night the youth will all sit together with the team for our big Nations Night.
